What services are available?

Browsing, checking out material, returning material, applying for and renewing Library cards, computer sessions, and self-service photocopying, mobile printing, and scanning are all available. Visit the front desk for faxing services. Study Rooms are available. To reserve a study room, please call us: (708) 649-7481.

What are the Library hours?

Monday | Wednesday | Friday – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday | Thursday – 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Saturday – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Sunday Closed

Closed the Last Saturday of the Month

Memorial Day – Labor Day: Closed Every Saturday 

 

Is curbside pickup available?

Do I need to wear a mask?

Masks are optional. The Illinois Department of Public Health and Cook County Department of Public Health has lifted masking orders. As a result, masks are now optional for Library visitors.

Will my temperature be taken?

Temperatures will not be taken, but anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher should not come into the Library.

Will I need to socially distance?

You should strive to maintain a respectful distance between yourself and others.

Can I use a computer?

One-hour computer sessions are available. Sessions may be extended based on availability. For more information, please call us: (708) 649-7485.

Can I get assistance with computers?

Computer, photocopying, and printing are all self-service. Over-the-shoulder computer help is limited. Check out our how-to-signage and videos for instructions or use the chat feature on our website.

Are seating areas available?

Yes, tables and seating are available in the common areas.

Can I use the public bathroom?

Yes, the public bathrooms will be open.

Can I get a drink of water?

Yes, the drinking fountain is in service.

Can I bring food or drink into the Library?

No, not at this time.
