What Services are available? Browsing, checking out material, returning material, applying for and renewing library cards, computer sessions, and self-service photocopying, mobile printing, and scanning are all available. Visit the front desk for faxing services.

Newspapers are back and Study Rooms are available (call 708-649-7481 to reserve a study room).

Can I use a computer? One-hour computer sessions are available. Sessions may be extended based on availability. Reservations are not required, but are recommended. To make an appointment to use a computer phone 708-649-7485.

Will staff be able to help me on the computer? Computer, photocopying, and printing are all self-service. Over-the-shoulder computer help is limited. Check out our how-to-signage and videos for instructions or use the chat feature on our website.

Will I be able to sit down in the library? Yes. Tables and seating are available in the common areas.

Can I use the public bathroom? Yes. The public bathrooms are open.

Can I get a drink of water? Yes. The drinking fountain is in service.

Can I bring food or drink into the library? No, not at this time.

Will I need to socially distance? You should strive to maintain a respectful distance between yourself and others.

Do I need to wear a mask in the library? Fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a mask in the Library. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated and all children under 12 are still required to wear masks and to socially distance.

Will my temperature be taken? Temperatures will not be taken, but anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher should not come into the library.

What are the library hours? Monday, Wednesday, & Friday – 9am-5pm Tuesday & Thursday – 11am-7pm Saturday -10am-2pm Closed the last Saturday of the month and every Sunday. Closed Saturdays: Memorial Day throughLabor Day
